Questions about how Crown Cards works
How does Crown Cards work?
You open a pack in the CrownCards iPhone or Android app and one graded card is revealed. You can hold it in a vault for up to seven days, have it shipped to a US address, or sell it back if Crown Cards makes an offer. Sale proceeds go to a dollar wallet, then to a payout account after a review hold.
How does Crown Cards make money?
Its own pages state: sale fee on buybacks, storage after seven days and creator commissions. Not published: pack price above average card value, sell-back discount, fee on a sell-back, shipping or retrieval fee and shipping, insurance and handling. We do not estimate margins or what Crown Cards pays for cards.
Does Crown Cards guarantee a buyback?
No. The homepage says you can sell a card back at market value, but the terms say Crown Cards is not required to make any buyback offer, keep one open or offer any price. No percentage is published.
Can you cash out money you put into Crown Cards?
No. The terms say credit you buy is not eligible for a payout request. Only the proceeds of cards you sold to Crown Cards can be paid out, after a 24 to 48 hour hold and up to seven business days more.
Is Crown Cards the same as Crown Rips?
No. Crown Rips is a different App Store app, sold by Sunflower Ltd. Crown Cards is sold by Crown Cards LLC and is listed as CrownCards.
