Questions people ask

What does FMV mean on a card rip app?

Fair market value: the app's own dollar figure for a card, and the number its sell-back is a share of. It is not a quoted market price. 2 of 27 apps name the outside price source their value starts from. The clauses are on the fair market value page.

Is a sell-back the same as a withdrawal?

No. A sell-back turns the card into a balance on the app. A withdrawal moves that balance out, and not every app offers one: 21 of 27 apps state a way to withdraw money in their own pages, and 6 of 27 apps pay the sell-back in site credit. Each app's route out is on the cash-out page.

What is the difference between a repack and a sealed pack?

A sealed pack is closed by the card's maker, which sets what goes in. A repack is put together by a seller from single cards, so its contents and its odds are the seller's own. More in what is a repack.

What does provably fair prove?

That a draw was fixed before you opened the pack and was not changed after. It does not show the odds are generous, or that the card's value is right. We read 3 apps' schemes and ran none. See provably fair, explained.
