Is your rip app open in your state?
Pick a state. This is what each app’s own terms said on 6 October 2026, sentence by sentence. It is the terms, not the law, and it is not legal advice.

What this page is
Each app’s own terms and help pages, read on 6 October 2026. Terms change; the date is on every cell.
What it is not
Legal advice, or a statement of the law in any state. An app’s terms are its own rule and can be wider or narrower than the law.
What we have not done
Signed up, paid or shipped from any state. Apps check where you are when you deposit, and may refuse you where the terms are silent.
Nevada, Michigan, Washington, Louisiana, and South Carolina are the only states any of these apps’ terms or help pages exclude by name. New to this? Start with what card ripping is, or read what each app puts in writing.

Posting a card abroad is one way out. The other is selling it back: how each app pays, and in what.
Minimum age
27 of 27 apps state a minimum age in their terms. Tap a logo for the app's review.
Several terms add “or the age of majority where you live, if higher”. What each app says it checks is in the age limits guide. If spending is a worry, the lock-out tools are on the set a limit page.
What the terms leave open
Gaps we found, shown as plainly as the rules.

An identity or location check can refuse you where the terms do not exclude you.
apps admit “authorised” countries without listing them
Others ship to “most” countries with unnamed exceptions. Those cells say so.
