Rip ledger: what you spent, what came back

Log each pack you open: what it cost, the card, and whether you sold it back, kept it or had it shipped. The ledger adds it up app by app. No account, and it stays in this browser.

How to read it

Four sums, worked on the example ledger with site credit counted as money.

1

Spent

9 packs at their price$225Every pack you paid for, whatever came out of it.
2

Back in hand

$63.50 money + $22.92 site credit$86.42Sell-backs as the app paid them. Credit is kept apart, and one switch counts it as zero.
3

Cards kept

2 cards, less $8 shipping$57.37In the vault or sent to you, at the value you entered. A value is not a sale.
4

Net position

$86.42 + $57.37 − $225−$81.21Below zero, the packs cost more than they gave back.

The ledger is a record of what happened, not a forecast and not advice. If the net is further down than you meant it to go, the responsible play page covers limits and time away.

What each app's own figures say

8 of 27 rated apps publish an average pull value and a sell-back rate. This is what those say $100 of packs returns on average, with every card sold back.

  • Back as cash
  • Back as stablecoin
  • Back as site credit
  • Selling fee
  • Sell-back cut
  • Pack price above stated card value
  • Not published, or credit counted as zero

One example pack per app, read on 6 October 2026. The other 19 apps have no bar: a figure the sum needs is not on a public page, and none is filled in.

Your ledger shows the same figure for your own packs beside each of these. For any spend, and for the apps left out, see the cash-back calculator.

Questions people ask

Where are my entries stored?

In this browser's local storage, on this device. The page sends them nowhere and there is no account. Clearing the browser's site data deletes them, and they do not follow you to another device. Export a CSV to keep a copy, and import it to carry on elsewhere.

Does site credit count as money back?

That is your call, so it is a switch. BOXED.GG, Fanatics Instant Rips, DOPA, Packs.com, Gemint, and ripz.gg pay sell-backs in credit. Credit buys more packs and cannot be withdrawn. Set it to zero to see the ledger in money alone.

What value should I enter for a card I kept?

What it would sell for today. The form fills in a dated TCGplayer market price for 106 ungraded cards, listed under card prices. For a graded slab or any other card, type a recent sold price. To weigh an app's offer against that price, use the offer checker.

Why is my return different from the app's published figure?

The published figure is an average over a great many packs with every card sold back. A handful of rips can land far either side of it. The pack simulator shows how wide that spread is.

Every figure was read on public pages on 6 October 2026. Nothing here has been tested with money yet. Card prices were read on 7 October 2026 and are for ungraded copies. The example ledger's outcomes are made up; a reader's own entries never leave their browser.
