Questions about how Beezie works
How does Beezie work?
You sign in on the web, pay a fixed price in USDC, and the Claw pulls one item at random from a finite pool: a graded card or sealed product held in a Brink's vault and issued to you as a token. For 15 minutes you can swap it back for USDC, less a 6% fee. Otherwise it stays in your collection, to list, hold or redeem after an identity check.
How does Beezie make money?
Its own pages state: fee on a sell-back, shipping or retrieval fee, marketplace fee and asset management fee. From its published numbers: swap value below item value. Not published: sell-back discount and reselling a swapped item. We do not estimate margins or what Beezie pays for cards.
Where do Beezie's cards come from?
The terms say a seller must send the physical item to Beezie for storage before its token is first sold, and the FAQ says resellers can create curated drops. Swapped items go back into the Claw inventory. Who stocks each machine, and what Beezie pays for an item, is not published.
Do Beezie's odds change between pulls?
Yes, by its terms. Each pulled item leaves the pool, so pulls “are not statistically independent of one another”, and a restock “does not preserve prior odds”. The odds on the page can differ from those in effect when your pull runs, and Beezie does not promise every user the same odds.
Is Beezie's 85% swap before or after the 6% fee?
After, on the items its pages list; no page says so in words. On 7 October 2026 the 206 items in the four machines' top three value tiers carried a swap value of 90.4% of item value on the $30 and $50 machines and 95.7% on the $250 and $500 ones. Less the 6% fee, that is 85% or 90%: the badge figure. Base and common items, most pulls, are not listed, and no swap was made to check.
Can you get dollars out of Beezie?
A swap pays USDC into your Beezie wallet. The help pages describe exporting the wallet's key to move crypto out. An FAQ last updated 8 months ago says bank off-ramps were expected; no page says they are live, so a bank payout is not confirmed.
