Pick an app to see the company behind it, where that company is registered, who has put money in and who holds the cards. 4 of the 27 apps we rate have all four on a terms page, a filing or the company's own announcement.

Where the companies are registered
Delaware is the most common answer, and 9 apps give none.
9Delaware
A Delaware corporation or company, in the terms' words or on an SEC filing.5Outside the US
Canada twice, then Malta, Nevis and the British Virgin Islands.9Not stated
A company name with no place of registration, or no company name at all.Registration is where the company exists on paper. It is not where the staff sit, and it is not always the law your dispute would be heard under.

8 of the apps whose governing-law clause we read name a different place from the one the company is registered in. Arbitration clauses can move it again.
Who has put money in
5 apps have an SEC Form D behind them, 2 filed by a related company, not the one in the terms. One more announced a round itself, and one is a listed company's product.

When one app has two companies
At 6 apps the operator's own pages name a second company with a real job in the product.
Rips by Triumph
- 1Triumph TCG, LLCThe company named for the app
- 2Triumph Labs, Inc.The affiliate the terms name, alongside the Triumph Arcade terms
Slabz
- 19546-9466 Quebec IncThe company named for the app
- 2Collector CryptPicks the card, issues the token and vaults it
Rip Rush
- 1Emerald Myth Studio LimitedThe company named for the app
- 2Happy Bowl Interactive IncUS payment agent, in Casper, Wyoming, called an affiliate
Underdog Rips
- 1Underdog Sports, LLC d/b/a Underdog FantasyThe company named for the app
- 2Phygitals Inc.Sources, stores and ships the cards, on the dataset's reading of the Rips terms

Gemint
- 1J Lab Ltd. (British Virgin Islands); seller of record Clearlake Inc. (Delaware)The company named for the app
- 2Clearlake Inc.Seller of record for every purchase and withdrawal
A second name is not a warning sign in itself. It tells you who to ask when a payment, a card or a claim goes missing, and that may not be the brand on the app.
Check a company yourself
Five places to look, in the order we looked.
- 1Read the first paragraph of the termsThe company that contracts with you is named there, often with “a Delaware corporation” or similar straight after it.
- 2Check the footer and the store listingThe App Store “Seller” and Google Play “Developer” lines name a company. It is not always the one in the terms.
- 3Search the name on EDGARA US company that has sold shares privately may have filed a Form D. EDGAR company search is free.
- 4Look for the company's own announcementA funding round on the company's own blog is its statement. A news story about a round is somebody else's.
- 5Find the vault lineWho holds the cards is a separate company at some apps. If an app shuts down has each one.
What this page cannot tell you
Who the shareholders are
Private companies do not publish a list of owners. A Form D gives a dollar figure and a count of investors, and no names.Whether a named owner makes an app sound
A filing shows money was raised. It says nothing about odds, payouts or what happens to your cards. What we did not search
We searched EDGAR by company name and read each terms page. We did not pull state or foreign company registers, which often charge per record. What changes after today
Companies re-register, get bought and rewrite terms. Every line here was read on 7 October 2026 or the day before.Questions people ask
Who owns Courtyard?
Courtyard Inc., a Delaware corporation with an office in San Francisco, on its terms. It is privately held. On its own blog it says it raised a $30 million Series A led by Forerunner Ventures. We found no primary source that lists its shareholders.
Who owns Rips by Triumph?
The terms name Triumph TCG, LLC, trading as Rips by Triumph, and call Triumph Labs, Inc. its affiliate. Triumph Labs is a Delaware corporation in San Francisco that reported a private share sale to the SEC in 2022. The terms do not say in words that one owns the other.
Is GameStop Power Packs owned by GameStop?
GameStop Corp.'s annual report says the company launched Power Packs in 2025 in partnership with Collectors Holdings, the owner of PSA, and that the cards are stored in the PSA vault. The seller named in the purchase terms is PowerPacks, LLC.
Why do so many apps say “not stated” for funding?
Because only 7 of 27 have a filing or their own announcement to read. We did not fill the gap from news reports or investor databases, so a blank here means no primary source, not no investors.
