“Any cancellation request must be received within 48 hours of delivery of the purchase. Cancellation requests will not be accepted after 48 hours.”
That policy is written for marketplace sales; the Instant Rips clause sends a wrong card to it for the remedy, and neither says how the 48 hours run for a card placed in a vault. On shipping, the terms say “You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged or lost shipments” once delivery is proved.

17No deadline in the terms

What a chargeback sets off
A chargeback is a dispute you raise with your bank, not with the app. 15 of 27 terms say what the app may do in return.
7Any chargeback
The clause applies to any chargeback or payment dispute, whatever the reason.8One the app calls unfounded

What the US regulator says about the bank's side
“Send your letter so that it reaches the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent to you.”
Federal Trade Commission, on billing errors on US credit cards, read on 7 October 2026. Debit cards and cards issued elsewhere follow other rules. FTC: disputing chargesNo commission
Whether a clause like these holds where you live is a legal question this page cannot answer. What the terms do tell you is what the app says it will do: close the account, hold stored cards, or bill you. Read your app's clause in the table before you dispute.

What a terms page cannot settle
Terms are the app's side
A clause says what the company intends to do. Consumer law where you live, and your card issuer's rules, can say something else.Silence is not a no
An app with no refund clause may still fix a wrong card. We did not test any support team, so nothing here says how one behaves.Terms change
Every quote was read on 7 October 2026. What counts is the version in force on the day of your purchase. This is not legal advice
For a card worth real money, read the current terms yourself or ask a lawyer or a consumer body where you live.Questions people ask
Can I get a refund on a card rip?
Rarely for the result. 13 of 27 apps list cases where they do refund, such as a duplicate charge or the app's own error. 11 call every purchase final with no listed exception, and 3 point to a refund policy their terms do not link.
What if the card that arrives is damaged or the wrong one?
Photograph it and tell the app at once. 10 of 27 apps set a deadline in their terms, from 2 to 30 days. The rest give no number, which is not the same as more time.
Will a rip app close my account if I file a chargeback?
15 of 27 apps attach a consequence in writing, such as a suspended or closed account. 7 apply it to any chargeback, and 8 to one the app calls fraudulent, unwarranted or made before asking it first.
Can I sue a card rip app?
25 of 27 terms send disputes to binding arbitration, and 21 keep small claims court open. 18 let you opt out within 30 days of first agreeing. Whether a clause binds you is for a lawyer, not this page.
