The average against the price

5 of the 11 stated averages sit above the pack price, up to 110.4%. Where a sell-back rate is published, none stays there.

  • Stated average
  • After its sell-back rate
  • Pack price

The first figure is the site’s stated average as a share of the pack price. The second is what $100 of packs returns if every card is sold straight back, where the site publishes a rate paid in cash or stablecoin.

An average counts the rare top cards that most packs do not hold, and a sell-back pays a share of a card’s value. What that means for a session is worked through in is card ripping worth it.

Questions people ask

How many card rip sites publish their odds?

21 of the 27 sites read on 6 October 2026 show odds on a public page. 4 more show them only inside the app, and for 2 no public page settles it.

Does an average above the pack price mean you come out ahead?

No. 5 sites state an average above the price, but the average is carried by rare cards. On 11 of the 13 odds tables read, the most likely band tops out at the pack price or under it.

What does $100 of packs return?

At the 7 sites that publish every figure the sum needs, $100 of packs sold straight back returns $75.60 to $95.00 on the site's own average and sell-back rate. None returns $100.

Which pack does each figure come from?

One pack per site: the pack whose public page we read, named beside each figure. Other packs on the same site can differ. The cash-back calculator runs the same sum on your own spend.

Can I use these figures?

Yes. Quote, chart or republish them with a link to this page. The table downloads as a CSV file, and the citation box above gives a ready-made reference.
