The bar is the $100 paid; the green part is what the average pack returns, paid as stablecoin and cash. Withdrawal fees and minimums are not in the figure. Only packs whose pages we read are listed, not every pack an app sells. For any other sort, use the pack finder.

The ranking rule

Worked for the leader, Lastpack $5 Starter Pack.

1

The pack's stated average

“GROSS EV: 95%”95% of the priceThe app's own figure, on its own card values. An average over many packs, not what one pack holds.
2

Times the sell-back rate

The app's published rate, less any selling fee100%The rate printed for the pack itself where there is one, otherwise the app-wide rate.
3

Counted only as money out

95% × 100%$95 per $100Paid in stablecoin. A pack paid in site credit is never ranked.

Highest cash per $100 first. A tie goes to the pack with the higher chance of a card valued at its price or more, then to the cheaper pack. How apps themselves are scored is on the rating method page.

Questions people ask

Which packs give the most back?

Of the 20 that can be ranked, Lastpack $5 Starter Pack returns the most on average: $95 per $100 if every card is sold straight back, paid in stablecoin. That is its stated average of 95% of the price, times a 100% sell-back. It is still less than the $100 paid.

Why rank on cash back and not card value?

Because card value is not what you can take out. 2 of the 20 ranked packs state an average above their price, and every one of them falls under $100 once the sell-back rate is applied. The highest stated average here, 110.6% at Collector Crypt, becomes $93.98.

Why are some packs listed and not ranked?

A cash figure needs a stated average, a sell-back rate and a payout in cash or stablecoin, all in writing. 40 of the 60 packs here lack one of them: for 35, the pack's own odds page was not read. Fanatics Instant Rips pays sell-backs in site credit, which is not money out.

Can you ship the card from a cheap pack?

Rarely for less than it is worth. At 5 of the 7 apps with a published fee, posting one $5 card costs $5 or more. 15 more apps that sell packs at $25 or less publish no single dollar figure for one card.
