The terms, point by point

  1. 1

    Information, not advice

Ratings are desk ratings: a published formula over documents we read, set out on how we rate. They are not a promise that an app will pay, ship or treat you fairly. Nothing here says a product is legal or illegal where you live: check the law and the app's terms yourself.

  2. 2

    Accuracy and dates

Each figure shows where it was read and on what date. Apps change terms, prices and odds without telling us, so read the app's current terms before you spend: its own document always wins over this site. Errors are fixed and dated on corrections.

  3. 3

    Tools and simulations

The budget tool and the simulator use pretend money and an app's published odds. No real pack is opened, and nothing is won or owed. Figures worked out from published odds are estimates, not measured results, and do not predict what you will pull.

  4. 4

    Spending is your decision

Card ripping costs money and most packs return less than they cost. Any account you open, and any money you spend, is between you and that app under its terms. See responsible play before you start.

  5. 5

    Links and who pays us

The site links to apps and other sites it does not control and is not responsible for. No app pays us today. If that changes it will be shown on the page and on the affiliate disclosure.

  6. 6

    Names and content

App names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used to identify what is being compared. cardrip is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any of them. The site's own text, tables and tools may be quoted with a link back.
